From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Bernd Tauber (born 7 May 1950, Göppingen, West Germany) is a German actor. He is best known for his role as Navigator Kriechbaum in the 1981 film Das Boot.
In the mid-1980s, Tauber appeared on the TV show Lindenstraße as Benno Zimmermann, the first HIV-positive character in German television.
In german TV series "Auf Achse" (1978-1996), Tauber appeared in season 1, episode "Tommy's Trip".
Clara and Hans are left-wing terrorists who have been sought by police for almost fifteen years. Their increasingly rebellious daughter Jeanne begins to pose a threat to their security when she falls in love with a boy she meets on the beach.
