Biography
Jean Yanne (born Jean Roger Gouyé; 18 July 1933 – 23 May 2003) was a French actor, screenwriter, producer, director and composer.
During his career, he won a Cannes Film Festival Award for his leading role in We Won't Grow Old Together (1972) and received a César Award nomination for his supporting role in Indochine (1992).
In 18th century France, the Chevalier de Fronsac and his Native American friend Mani are sent by the King to the Gevaudan province to investigate the killings of hundreds by a mysterious beast.
