Biography
Jennifer Kent (born 5 March 1969) is an Australian writer-director best known for her supernatural horror film "The Babadook" (2014) and her period revenge thriller "The Nightingale" (2018). Kent graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 1991 with a degree in Performing Arts.
When beautiful young Grace arrives in the isolated township of Dogville, the small community agrees to hide her from a gang of ruthless gangsters, and, in return, Grace agrees to do odd jobs for the townspeople.
